THE FATIMA CRUSADER
Issue 63

Our Lady cries because of the Passion
and death of Her Divine Son Jesus,
caused by the sins of mankind.

But Her tears are now also shed for
the fate that shall befall each of us
if we do not heed Her Fatima requests.

Russia Must be Consecrated to the Immaculate Heart
by Father Gregorius D. Hesse, S.T.D., J.C.L., J.C.D. (Cand.)

This article brilliantly demonstrates that a Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is of a theological necessity or at least a theological convenience, even if Heaven had never mentioned it. This article addresses the questions: Why a consecration; why to Our Lady; why to Her Immaculate Heart; why Russia; and why by the Pope and all the bishops?

Mary's Immaculate Heart
by St. Alphonsus de Liguori

Presented here is a beautiful, profound, Scriptural and understandable Rosary meditation on the fourth Joyful Mystery by the great saint and Doctor of the Church, Alphonsus de Liguori. He explains the great sacrifice Mary made when, in the Temple, She solemnly offered up the life of Her Divine Son Jesus to God the Father.

Update on the Plot to Silence Our Lady
by Father Paul Kramer, B.Ph., S.T.B., M.Div., S.T.L. (Cand.)

This article is a response to the distorters of Our Lady's Fatima Message who, in response to our proofs that Our Lady's request for the Consecration of Russia has not yet been fulfilled, have answered with defamatory personal attacks and flimsy, spurious arguments that avoid any attempt to refute our evidence.

Fatima: Optional or Binding?
Fatima Priest - A Review
by Father Stephen Somerville

This article is a review of the book, Fatima Priest, the story of the life and apostolate of Father Nicholas Gruner, the Canadian priest who has devoted his priesthood to keeping alive the full Message of Our Lady of Fatima - including the urgent needs of the Consecration of Russia and the complete release of the Third Secret.

The Fatima Message Must be Made Known

This brief article explains that the goal of this apostolate is to make known the whole Message of Fatima, and make it understood. For then, by our cooperation and, above all, with the powerful assistance of Our Lady, the fulfillment of all the requests of Our Blessed Mother will follow as a matter of course.

Russia Heightens Nuclear Threat

This news report cites the growing threat of Russia. It reveals that Russia has hardened its line on the use of its nuclear arsenal, making it easier to press the nuclear button, while declaring the West a hostile power that must be resisted, as was decreed by Russian president Vladimir Putin. At the same time, Russian attack-submarines stalked the U.S. coasts last year.

Russians are Saying: "We're still a Power"

This news report cites the growing threat of Russia, explaining that the Russians have made a statement that they are still a power, by deploying two Russian attack-submarines to stalk the U.S. coasts last year.

The Fatima Crusader Mailbox

A Nigerian priest writes to inform Father Gruner of the benefits he received from attending the Fatima: World Peace 2000 international conference and the progress of their Fatima Centre in his country.

The recitation of the Holy Rosary is steadily growing in the Philippines and this letter gives Father Gruner thanks and credit for helping increase devotion to Our Blessed Mother.

Russia Has Not Yet Been Consecrated

By examining each part of Our Lady's promise that when Russia is consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart, "Many souls will be saved ... Russia will be converted ... and a period of peace will be given to the world", this brief article proves that Russia has not yet been consecrated.

The Secret of Padre Pio (Part II)
Interview with Father Nicholas Gruner, S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.)

Like Padre Pio, Father Gruner has been silenced and isolated for his attachment to miracles (Fatima), and to the Mass celebrated by the holy Capuchin. This article concludes the conversation with Father Nicholas Gruner about Padre Pio, the great miracle worker of the Twentieth Century. (See Issue #60 for Part I.)
