THE FATIMA CRUSADER
Issue 57

Pictured above, on May 13, 1998, Father Gruner and some of the pilgrims and staff at the Fatima Center in procession with Our Lady. At Fatima, on August 19, 1917, Our Lady told the three children that there should be processions with Her Sacred Image. Processions are very pleasing to Jesus and Mary. To hear what Jesus, Himself, says about them, read Brother Gino Burresi's description at the end of "Catholic Protestants".

Sister Lucy Betrayed
by Christopher A. Ferrara, Esq.
This article presents a detailed analysis of two purported "interviews" with Sister Lucy, the last surviving seer of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. Since, according to the author of these published "interviews", Sister Lucy essentially retracted everything she had said about the Message of Fatima during the previous 75 years, it is necessary to address these blatant contradictions.

Pope St. Pius X Exalts Our Lady
Excerpts from St. Pius X's encyclical Ad Diem Illum
To commemorate the 50th anniversary and Jubilee of the promulgation of the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception, Pope St. Pius X issued the encyclical Ad Diem Illum (Feb. 2, 1904), which is a superb and edifying presentation of Marian doctrine. Here are excerpts from this beautiful document.

"Make Straight the Way of the Lord"
by Father Andrew B. Horvath, B.A., M.A.
Father Horvath tells us that the way to Heaven is God's way - the way of the Lord, the one and only way that Our Lord Jesus Christ traveled before us. It is the way of the cross, of sacrifice, of penance and mortification.

The Sacrament of Penance
by Father Andrew B. Horvath, B.A., M.A.
Father Horvath discusses the neglected Sacrament about which Pope John Paul II said, "It is necessary to recognize the existence of a certain crisis in the Sacrament of Penance."

Sacred Particles
by Father Andrew B. Horvath, B.A., M.A.
In this article, Father Horvath poses this question to us: Where is reverence for the Sacred Host today?

"Catholic Protestants"
by Father Andrew B. Horvath, B.A., M.A.
Father Horvath refers to many Catholics today as "Catholic Protestants", because to reject Catholic teaching is to "protest". For as Pope Benedict XV said, "The nature of the Catholic faith is such that nothing can be added to it, nothing taken away. Either it is held in its entirety or it is rejected totally."

Be Vigilant, Watch and Pray
by Father Andrew B. Horvath, B.A., M.A.
In this article, Father Horvath explains that satan is waging the ultimate war against Mary, the Mother of God, and God's Holy Church. Now is the time when each one of us must take a definite stand.
